I ran across some LJ users who had taken up the challenge of reading 100 books in a year, so I decided to do the same. I'll review the books here, mostly to chart my own progress. Start date= July 5, 2006, end date (obviously)= July 5, 2007. Some of the books will be rereads for me, and some new.

I'm not really telling anyone that I've started the journal, so if you randomly come across it and see I have no friends, I'm not lame, promise.

Some of my reviews will contain spoilers. Read at your own risk.

Pretty much randomly found this...
Thats a wicked cool idea. I think I'll do that after I graduate college. (I don't even have time to SLEEP when classes are in session, let alone read for pleasure.)

I shall check back here to read book reviews. Can I recommend some? I am a book fanatic. What type are you into?

Yes the icon is how I stumbled upon your journal. I always check to see if people credited hehe

I have to leave quickly so I will read your Harry Potter review later but here are some book recommendations. I suggest looking them up at www.amazon.com first just to make sure it is one you might like. I have semi-eclectic taste.

Speak by Laurie Halse Andreson

Catalyst by Laurie Halse Anderson (sequel to Speak)

Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen by Dyan Sheldon (Not like the sucky evil movie. Really funny book.)

The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

Thirsty by MT Anderson

Feed by MT Anderson (you get used to the language style very quickly. Dont let it discourage you at first.)

Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klauss (my absolute most favorite book ever.)

Go Ask Alice by anonymous

From Camelot to Kent State by someone who I forgot haha (It is a book i needed for a class but it is really good. It is personal accounts of 60's events like protests and riots.)

Last Act By Christopher Pike

And thats all I have for now because I gotta run and my computer is dying. Hope you like some of those.
