urn:lj:livejournal.com:atom1:1year100books Or at least to entertain you while you live it Jessie 2038-01-19T03:14:07Z urn:lj:livejournal.com:atom1:1year100books:1279 2038-01-19T03:14:07Z 2038-01-19T03:14:07Z <p>K, so I've read three books, but I can't get the time to review them.&nbsp; Here's a short review of all, will expand later.&nbsp; All of 'em are romance novels; I should probably try for something different for the next book I read.</p> <p><em>Dangerous Gentleman</em>- 5 out of 10- good writing, but contrived plot.<br /><br /><em>Once and Always- </em>3 out of 10- bad writing, incredibly contrived plot.&nbsp; How come people like Judith McNaught so much?&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br /><em>Midnight Pleasures</em>- 7 out of 10- very good!&nbsp; Good plot, interesting characters.&nbsp; Relies a little too much on misunderstandings and assumptions, but Eloisa James is already showing what a great writer she will become later in this, one of her earlier books.&nbsp; </p>
