| Bio: | I ran across some LJ users who had taken up the challenge of reading 100 books in a year, so I decided to do the same. I'll review the books here, mostly to chart my own progress. New start date= Dec. 19, 2007, new end date (obviously)= Dec. 19, 2008. Rating system: In my reviews, I use a 1 to 10 scale. 10= Best.Book.Ever. 9= Almost the best book ever, but not good enough for a 10 8= Awesome book, will be reread many times 7= Great book, a keeper, probably won't be reread *that* much 6= Good, but flawed, won't reread 5= Average, will keep, but wouldn't be that sad to give away 4= Below average, probably give to used bookstore 3= Not good, but has a few redeeming qualities 2= Pretty awful. Struggled to finish. 1= Worst. Book. Ever. | |||||
